The Director's Residence
The Villa

Gimo Herrgård was the first manor house built in Sweden during the Gustav III era. It was designed by Jean Eric Rehn who lived and studied in France for several years in the mid-18th century. Inspired by the great French castles like the Versailles, construction began in the 1750's, but it was not finished until almost 30 years later.

Today Gimo Herrgård is a grand four star hotel with 68 rooms and suites. All rooms are individually decorated to suit the modern hotel guest's demands of comfort and accessibility. All rooms are equipped with satellite tv and wireless broadband access.

Gimo Herrgård is a member of Luxury Lifestyle Hotels, Countryside Hotels of Sweden and Historic Hotels of Europe.
